Click to go to Nsw water bore permit online application

Permits are required in NSW so that a data base of bores and their water quality is expanded over time. There is a fee, but if you have any difficulty navigating the site, or just need general advise. Use our contact form--->
QLD has a better system than NSW, they do not make you pay a fee to drill a bore, they just require us (the licenced drillers) to send in a bore completion report for their records.
If you intend on using the water for commercial purposes, or are in a controlled area, you will need to apply for a permit.
